Next Meeting:  Friday, December 19, 2014, 1:30 P.M.
Topic:  Cloud Technology – Is It Right for You?

What is it and should I be using it?  Is data really held in clouds?  Is it safe?  What does it cost and how do I get it?  These are just some of the questions we’ve been asking about “The Cloud”.  Join us for a program that will answer these questions and more – enabling you to make your own decision about whether cloud technology is right for you.

Our December speaker is Robert Johnson, owner of Computer Medics of Kansas City, LLC, a mobile computer repair and software support company.  Mr. Johnson is a 28+ year information technology professional, who has spent the majority of his career working for several of Kansas City’s leading edge technology corporations.  His company is highly respected throughout the region for its technical know-how and “five star” customer service.

The Johnson County Central Resource Library will be undergoing a major renovation during 2015 which will include the Carmack Room.

The purpose of this blog is to be a resource for consumer information on computer related technology without getting too technical (free of geek speak) and without cost (geek for free) – thus the name “Geek Free”.
