WHAT WILL THE MODEL UNITED NATIONS SIMULATION LOOK LIKE?
The simulation will be run as a full-fledged conference in order to allow students to practice proper protocol, understand procedures, and become comfortable with skills such as negotiation, caucusing, and speech making. A full staff of directors will staff and run the various committees. The directors and assistant directors of the committees will also occasionally stop the action to give "teaching points" on what did or did not happen in a negotiating session. This simulation will provide a combination of hands-on practice on a large scale and also guidance and expertise from experienced former delegates.
